Fate

roll the dice, spin the top,
tempt fate's hand, win or not,
written paths, are choices free?
i want one thing, but it doesn't want me.
a wager made, a risk to you,
shuffle the deck, split it through.
life and death, good and bad,
free choice and fate, have or had.
twisting paths, shadowed lies,
its now or never, do or die.

greatest downfall

you've left me with a torn up chest,
my beating heart you've lain to rest,
when you stole it from me i was fine,
glad to giv the heart of mine,
but you rented that heart clean of all life,
watched me suffer, enjoyed the strife,
how can you pleasure in my pain,
what is there you hav to gain?
are you blind? cant you see?
the love i felt was real to me!
you were my life, my soul, my all,
but you've been my greatest downfal

Snuffed Lights

I'd walked that path for so long,
followed two pinpoints in the night,
the pinpoints that i loved so much,
the pinpoints that were my leading lights,
they were my life as i walked,
through shroud and mist the same,
they kept me going without stop,
they kept my fears all tamed,
they were my life, my hope, my song,
my twin points of being,
but fate play a cruel cold game,
and doused one of the lights i was seeing.
i grieved with shock at that huge loss,
but it fueled my love for that last one there,
but another stole from me that light,
took it away and left me bare.
now the cold sinks and and the darkness closes
and i despair and fumble round,
i know the cliff is near, but unseen.
and ill fall to my death when my feet leave the ground.

apex of pain

she said goodbye to me today,
said that friendship wouldn't be,
she said that i messed up her life,
she made it clear, though i could't see,
i'd done no wrong, but when i asked,
she gave no anwser, just turned her back.
and stronger, now i feel the pain,
my life line to the world cut slack.
i looked so hard to see my fault,
the act that provoked this tragedy,
but search with vengeance though i might,
the truth of it was hid from me.
and now i trudge by, day by day,
no point or objective for my life.
im getting to the apex of most pain,
i think of the ritual of the knife.
i wonder now "how bad can it be"
to draw pictures on my arms
with a blade so sharp, so cold, so harsh
to draw my blood without alarm.
this fondled thought, though, is just that,
an idea i play with, just consider,
at this point i don't think i'm strong enough,
or mad, enraged, fickle, bitter.
i know i won't go that far,
though it amuses to me to think,
but silent shadows close in now,
and i am on the brink

unwanted gifts

"they're her's forever"

my soul's been stolen, torn to shreds,
my heart's been cut out of my chest,
my mind is tricked, deceived, misled,
my life is hanging by a thread,
she has them all, their her's forever
but she hates me still, she'll love me never

twisted lies

she clings to the lies

in a dark castle he hides,
the thing i love the most inside.
within the darkened, evil structure
he feeds her lies and tries to rupture
any thoughts about escape,
from that wretched horrid place.
his tongue speak lies that are so smooth,
they seem like silver and change her mood.
she thinx she needs him, thinks he cares,
and as i watch, my heart, it tears.
she's taught to hate me, taught to turn
a cheek to me. and my soul, it burns

heart strings

the heart of steel i wish i had
"betrayal of the best,
my heart's been layed to rest,
shadows closing in,
to cover up my darkened sin,
a life line to the world cut slack,
...one last holds taut keeping me to this saddened track"

Smile's mask

"my mask of a smile,
covers the truth of my life,
it shines over the darkness,
the pain and the strife.
the mask that i wear is for all to c,
...it covers the truth, no one knows the real me.
but the truth without doupt,
will always come out,
burning through masks,
smashing them fast.
ppl will notice, and ppl will realize,
so i must strengthen my mask, to trick their eyes
"
